The Rascally Tongue
"And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature and it set on fire by hell." (James 3:6)

Guided by two powerful upper and lower mandibles
Living between two sets of sharp crushing teeth.
The teeth guard and protect the tongue
The teeth do not bite the tongue
Excepts she drives rough.
The tongue influences the entire body.
Fact, the tongue claims to do every thing for the body.
She speaks for the body.
She is the attorney of the heart, mind and body
What else does she do?
When the legs walk to a place, and one asks, who brought you here?
Before the feet move, the tongue says, 'I came here by myself.'
Oh sharp tongue, I was asking the legs, not you!"
'I am sorry.' She goes again.
When the hand knocks at the door "bam bam!" and
The lady behind the door says, "Who is there?"
The tongue claims, "It is I, can I come in?"
Mrs. Mellow smiled broadly looking into the eyes of the mouth carrier,
Miss Cabby, ignoring the mouth.
She says, " Yes, come in Miss Beautiful."
She opened the door, holding it in place
Miss Cabby walks in, her legs jingling.
Miss Cabby captured Mrs Mallow's entire living room in one glance.
She was careful choosing her words with Mrs Mellow.
The tongue came to rescue thinking she was mincing
Mrs. Mellow raises her face and their eyes lock.
She smiles nods, 'sit down."
The tongue is set to embarrass her so,
She tightens her lips in attempt to stop the tongue from reckless drivingDo you think the tongue could ever stop talking?
The answer is no, unless by death.
Do you think the tongue could be restrained?
The answer is yes, not for a long time though
Do you think the tongue could be sealed, bridled or taped?
Not necessarily, life is useless without the tongue
Do you think the tongue could be tamed?
Of course, nevertheless not with bridle, tape or signet
The only way to deliver the tongue from unruly behaviors is to refine the heart and mind.
The tongue speaks what the heart or mind thinks. She is very loyal to the heart.
Let the heart be healthy AND the tongue is lovely!
